WHAT’S HAPPENING IN SEPTEMBER

GREETINGS!

SPEAKERS’ CORNER 2009: Our second installment of Speakers’ Corner was a great success and featured Muay Thai Kickboxing fighter, trainer, coach & mentor Sue Latta.

Our September Speakers’ Corner evening, September 2nd, is going to feature team and leadership coach David Savage. Mindset and mental agility are the starting point for every achievement, says David, director of Elevate Coaching. Better known as “Sav”, he has been a Professional Coach for six years, and has made Featherston his home for the last two and a half years.

“I help people and organisations clarify what their goals are and create pathways to get them there,” he explains. Drawing on a combination of neuro science and sports psychology, Sav has worked with clients as diverse as singer-songwriters, businesspeople, competitive athletes and government ministries.

Speakers’ Corner, running the 1st Wednesdays of the month at 7.30 from July – December, offers a chance to find out more about the interesting people who live in your Community. Each night has a 20-30 minute presentation followed by a question period and supper. Gold Coin donation greatly appreciated.
