Pilates: Bodymind Pilates are set to start another 6 week series of Pilates on Monday August 3rd at 6.30pm in our Kowhai room. It is $60 for the series, and entitles you to full membership and access to the Bodymind Pilates studio up in Masterton, which holds over 20 classes per week! Featherston Community Centre presents SPEAKERS CORNER 2009: Our first ever Speaker’s Corner night was a huge success. Dr. Troy Baisden packed out our main room on a cold rainy night, with over 65 people attending his fascinating talk and slide show on Easter Island.
Next up, speaking from the Blue corner in true Featherston colours is Muay Thai Kickboxing fighter, trainer, coach & mentor Sue Latta. Join us Wednesday August 5th at 7.30 to hear Sue speak about the local club, and her experiences with Thai Kickboxing on a national and international level.
Our September Speaker’s Corner evening, September 2nd is going to feature team and leadership coach David Savage.
Speaker’s Corner, running the 1st Wednesdays of the month at 7.30 from July – December, offers a chance to find out more about the interesting people who live in your Community. Each night has a 20-30 minute presentation followed by a question period and supper. We're located at 14 Wakefield street. Gold Coin donation greatly appreciated.

Southern Exposure Information Night: Arrow FM 92.7 and the Featherston Community Centre are holding an information evening at 7pm on Wednesday August 12th. We are looking for people interested in hosting their own monthly radio programme that will be recorded and edited in the South Wairarapa and then brought up to Masterton for broadcasting.
